September 2007 – Pollen wins Gold Award of Excellence in national Flower Shop of the Year competition. Pollen are now through to the final stages of this annual competition, competing with 23 other shops across the country for 4 Platinum places. From the 4 final shops a National Winner and runner up will be selected.

We won’t know if we are in the final four until December. In the meantime we have to complete a final questionnaire to demonstrate our knowledge, expertise and understanding in key retailing areas: Retail Planning, Sales & Marketing Initiatives, Business Development and Improving profitability.

The eventual National Champion – the Flower Shop of the Year 2007 - will be announced next January will receive a £5,000 prize to develop their business.
